Biography
Radheesh Ameresekere is pursuing his Ph.D. at McGill University and finishing his S.M. at Harvard University. His research sits at the intersection of legal and political philosophy, and focuses on questions of global justice, state sovereignty, and the moral limits of the global market. He is also interested in how these questions pertain to healthcare, and has published in venues such as Health Affairs Forefront and the Journal of Bioethical Inquiry. He is also a Fellow-in-Residence with the Research Group on Constitutional Studies at the Yan P. Lin Center, a Research Fellow with the Groupe de Recherche Interuniversitaire en Philosophie Politique (GRIPP), and Stipendiary Fellow with McGill’s new Philosophy, Technology, & Policy Lab. Previously, he was Stipendiary Fellow at the University of Toronto’s Centre for Ethics, where he also received his Bachelor’s degree.
