“Ethics Committees for Animal Shelters”

Kristin Voigt (McGill University), co-director of the CRÉ, publishes a new article entitled Ethics Committees for Animal Shelters” in collaboration with Angie Pepper (University of Roehampton), collaborator of the CRÉ, in the Journal of Shelter Medicine and Community Animal Health.

In this article, the authors argue that animal shelters should consider creating ethics committees to address the many ethical challenges they face, such as competing interests among residents of animal shelters and the interests of animals living in the surrounding community.
